Here at Floormania, we strive to give our customers the best flooring available. With our wide range of flooring options and for being an Australian Timber Flooring Association (ATFA) member, we make sure that our timber comes from trusted sources. With this in mind, we stock two excellent brands for our Floating Timber Flooring.
Floating timber floors is also known as engineered floors. Essentially they are the same as solid timber flooring except they haven’t been nailed into the layer beneath the new surface. Floating timber floors are great to put over tile, concrete, carpet as they have the same effect that traditional hardwood flooring does just without the hassle of the installation.
In today’s blog, we’ll be talking about the two types of Floating timber floors that we stock at Floormania; HM Walk and Quick-Step.
HM Walk is an engineered hardwood floor that that uses Eucalyptus to make its stable 9 ply. HM Walk uses a 13 coat wearing system that makes it a very durable floor. HM Walk has a 25-year warranty on the construction of its domestic products, ensuring that it won’t fall apart when you walk on it. HM Walk is stocked in the following finishes: Blue Gum, Brushbox, Ironbark, Jarrah, and Spotted Gum. To read more about HM Walk, click here for their brochure.
Quick-step believe that your flooring should be considered your “fifth wall” and shouldn’t be regarded as something that you just walk on. Quick-step flooring ensures that there is no post-installation work to do, so as soon as the floor is installed, it is ready to be enjoyed. Quick-step uses a factory applied oil and lacquer finish so that your floors are scratch and stain resistant. Quick-step comes in a range of finishes including: Blackbutt, Jarrah, Kempas, Brushed Spotted Gum and more. To read more about the Quick-Step products that we stock, click here for their brochure.
